A weekend for Nepalese movies

If you live around Seattle, this weekend is certainly a Nepalese movie weekend with six movies being screened. Bhutanese Community Resource Center (BCRC) and Tasveer South Asian Film Festival are screening six different Nepalese movies (in Nepali and English language) in various theatres in Seattle, WA.

In Search of a Nation

BCRC is screening Bhutanese docudrama film “In Search of a Nation” on Date Oct 17th, 2015 at PAC Theatre Foster High School Tukwila, WA from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm.

Here is the Synopsis of the movie:
The docudrama film “In Search of a Nation” is conceived by Bhutanese American film maker Pralhad Gurung. It about more then 120,000 refugee from Bhutan living in refugee camp in Nepal.
The ongoing resettlement program for forgotten Bhutanese refugees has scattered them to various western countries, but their search for a nation would continue forever.
