Himalayan Dog Chew, a company founded by Nepalese in Seattle got featured on ABC Television’s “Shark Tank” Friday night.

The founders walked away from a three sharks (each $750,000 value) deal for a 15 percent stake in their company. The founders Suman Shrestha, Sujan Shrestha, and Nishes Shrestha had declined the offer saying they already have a $1 million line of credit. They had asked for $750,000 for a 5 percent equity in the company. They told the ‘shark’ investors that they made $5.6 million in sales last year, selling more than 1 million packages and expect to make at least $8 million this year.
