LEI to organize fundraiser to help clean water projects in Nepal

Living Earth Institute, a Seattle based non profit working to aid international communities in developing sustainable water resources, is organizing a fundraiser coming Sunday, December 8th to help clean water projects in Nepal. The program will be held at Burke Museum, University of Washington.

The program includes Nepalese dinner and the cultural entertainment.

About LEI
Living Earth Institute (LEI) is committed to empowering communities in Nepal to protect their health and environment through the sustainable use of water resources.

LEI is a small non-profit 501(3)(c) organization founded by a small group of people in Seattle in 1999. The organization’s goal is to aid international communities in developing sustainable water resources. It works with the community to implement income generation trainings, micro-lending programs, literacy classes, hygiene education, and other programs to meet community – defined needs.

About the event:
The program on December 8th is LEI’s annual fundraiser to help fund the projects in Nepal. We will have Nepali food (Dal, Bhat, Tarkari) with traditional Nepali folk music performance.
