World Cyclist Furtemba Sherpa to be welcomed in Seattle

Furtemba Sherpa, who has been doing the world tour through cycle, is coming to Seattle. Northwest Sherpa Association has announced a welcome program in honor of Mr. Sherpa on January 26th in Curry and Kabab Restaurant, Kent.

According to the organizer, the program will include welcoming Furtemba Sherpa as well as slide show of his world tour pictures and interaction with him. The program will also include music and dancing with Mr. Sherpa.

Mr. Sherpa has been cycling the world since 2003 promoting world peace, environmental protection and social harmony. He aims to visit 151 countries by 2020. To date, he has achieved over 65% of his goal. He has already toured 100 countries in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, Caribbean, Central, and South America.
